Strange bloke arrested after leaving ‘please give me your underwear’ note on woman’s car
The woman was left weirded out after sinister notes were left on her car which begged her to part with her underwear, and a police investigation is now underway to find the bloke
A stalker has been arrested after attempting to threaten a woman into handing over her knickers. The woman was left weirded out after sinister notes were left on her car which begged her to part with her underwear.
The bizarre request was made by a man who had been watching her, police said. The man – an unnamed 25-year-old – had been following the woman, watching where she worked and parked her car. He then left her threatening notes telling her to hand over her worn knickers to him.
The woman, who has also not been named, was left terrified and called police who launched an investigation to track down the man.
They say they have since arrested the man on charges of stalking and attempted coercion after leaving the handwritten letters on her vehicle. The incident happened in Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.
Police say that the suspect placed an envelope under the windshield wiper of the woman’s car that had been parked in Nagaoka City. The envelope contained a handwritten note which said: “Please give me your underwear. If you do, no harm will come to you or your family.”
Cops added that after investigations it became clear that the pair knew each other personally. During questioning, the suspect reportedly admitted to the allegations, saying, “There is no mistake that I did it.”
Police say investigations are now ongoing as they decide whether to press formal charges through the courts. The woman is said to have severed ties with the man she knew and is helping officers with their enquiries.
The incident went viral online with some suggesting she should write back and demand a lot of cash, while others waded in with their own shocked thoughts.
On Reddit, one said: “Don’t be so quick to judge. Who among us has not asked a Japanese woman to give us their underw……hold on, what!?!?”
