Man who ‘secretly filmed woman in bath through window came to home 200 times’
Fukushi Mashio has been accused of secretly filming a woman as she took a bath in her own home as he admitted during police questioning on visiting the property on around 200 occasions
A man has been arrested for filming a woman bathing in her own home as he reportedly visited his victim’s home around 200 times, he allegedly told police.
Fukushi Mashio is suspected recording the woman, who is in her 20s, by placing his smartphone through a gap in the bathroom window of a house in Adachi Ward, Tokyo.
The 32-year-old charges relate to the incident back in 2024 but Mashio told police he had visited the property on more occasions.
His victim’s home was reportedly on his commute to work and during police questioning, Mashio admitted to the allegation and added he visited her home around 200 times.
It is currently unknown how many times he had secretly filmed the woman during these visits.
As reported by the Nippon News Network, Tokyo Metropolitan Police were told during the questioning of Mashio that he got the “urge” to have a “peek” at the woman.
His victim’s bathroom light being on reportedly caught his attention as he passed her home.
He reportedly told cops: “I saw the bathroom light on and was driven by the urge to peek. I went to the victim’s house about 200 times over two years.”
Mashio allegedly added: “It worked, so I thought I’d try it again.”
Tokyo Metropolitan Police say Mashio may face further charges after his smartphone was seized.
More videos that appear to be secretly filmed were found on Mashio’s device and are now being investigating other possible crimes.
