Looksmaxxer in naked rampage before death ‘believed in injecting gold for superpowers’

Connor Murphy, 32, was found dead in a lake in Thailand after he allegedly trashed his luxury rental home and then jumped into the water- his friends claim he believed in injecting gold for powers

A fitness influencer and looksmaxxer who died after allegedly trashing his luxury rental property before jumping into a lake naked, reportedly believed in injecting liquid gold for super powers. American national Connor Michael Murphy was plucked from the water in Bang Phli, Thailand on July 8 after “behaving erratically.”

Local media reported a stand-off with police during a naked rampage, which ended with the 32-year-old running into the lake in an “agitated” state. According to International Business Times, Murphy believed in biohacking and the mystical power of gold.

One enhancement enthusiast, known as Tony Huge on YouTube reportedly said: “Up until his passing, he was discovering that he had achieved some superhuman abilities, and it’s no joke; he actually did achieve some superhuman abilities.

“He had tapped into a level of consciousness that most people never will.”

Another by the name of Androgenic claimed he “started to believe that gold was some gatekept mineral by the higher-ups that basically gives you special powers if you ingest it.”

The claims have not been confirmed by Thai authorities, nor has an official cause of death been given.

Earlier that evening, Murphy had apparently arrived back at the luxury rental by taxi, acting strangely, a security guard at the location stated.

The guard said he started shouting, rolling around on the tarmac and lifting his arms as though praying. When police arrived, he then reportedly charged into the estate, plunged into the 10-metre-deep lake, swam until he grew tired and disappeared below the surface.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Santirat Ngernman told reporters:. “When we arrived, he became agitated with the officers. And refused to let anyone approach him.”

Witnesses refrained from entering the water due to its depth, NeedToKnow reported. Connor and his partner had allegedly been together for around three years.

Although they had previously lived apart, they had relocated to the 22m THB (£493,000) rental home together roughly three months earlier. The 22-year-old allegedly said it was the first occasion Connor had behaved in such a manner and she was baffled as to what might have triggered the episode.

She maintained it began the previous evening when he supposedly hurled paint throughout their rented accommodation while she was asleep.

Police are reported to have found two unused syringes on the driver’s seat of Connor’s car and numerous unidentified white tablets in his bum bag.

His partner claimed she had never seen him taking drugs. The landlord was apparently left shocked after finding paint splattered throughout the property, including across furniture and electronic devices.

Connor had amassed nearly three million followers and subscribers across his social media platforms, where he shared comedy, bodybuilding, fitness and philosophy content.
