Linyo H1 is Basically a Rolling Box That Delivers a Complete Car Wash and Coating in 20 Minutes With Almost No Water

Car owners who park on the street or in communal parking spaces are all too familiar with this scenario. The normal ritual of dragging a hose across the pavement, looking high and low for a drain that won’t flood a neighbor’s place, or lugging out various buckets and tools from the trunk, all converts what should be a fast maintenance activity into a tedious weekend project. Linyo Technology designed the H1 to eliminate all of the hassle.

The machine arrives in a two-wheeled cube measuring 13 inches in diameter and weighs 21 pounds, which is rather compact for a system of this kind. On top, there’s a telescoping wand and a motorised roller head that tucks neatly away when not in use. Inside, there are two tanks: one for fresh water and one for dirty water, which begin collecting water as soon as the car pulls away. Fill the fresh side with a little less than a gallon, wheel the unit out to your vehicle, and you’re done.

The pH-neutral detergent mixes automatically at a 1:50 ratio, as all you have to do is press the foam trigger, and the system will take care of the rest. The thick foam distributes into the paint, and the roller cleverly lifts and extracts all of the surface crud before it is distributed by the sponge or blade. A nano-ceramic coating is applied in one step, followed by a mild fine mist rinse. The green light on the wand indicates the optimal angle and pressure to apply to curves and body lines.

Most users find that the first pass around the car takes about 20 minutes once they’ve gotten used to it, but don’t worry if you need to do a second coat, as the 5,000mAh battery has enough power for two full exterior washes on a single charge, and replenishing the battery takes about 2.5 hours. If you need a consistent supply of electricity, you can also get a hybrid plug-in version, which is perfect for detailers or anyone who has to wash a lot of cars. When you’re finished cleaning the exterior, simply switch the motor to vacuum mode, which allows you to use the suction head to remove dust and crumbs off seats, floor mats, and so on.

This closed-loop design is particularly efficient since it prevents water from wastefully entering the parking lot or storm drains. Plus, the equipment supports your weight (standard adult), allowing you to easily access the rooftops of taller vehicles. When you’re finished, the pieces you need to replace are easy to find, with new sponges and blades readily available, and most users will be able to use their preferred pH-neutral soap with no problem.

Early bird pricing appears enticing, with the cordless model starting at $349 and the hybrid at $399, with the option to buy a second battery. The Kickstarter campaign runs until mid-July 2026, and it has already garnered a lot of attention from those eager to get their hands on this technology.
