They are known to have a working relationship, but according to partygoers, their relationship looks a little closer than that.
The annual gay pride parade in the Netherlands poked fun at US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin – with giant inflatables that appeared to show the pair sharing a snog as the ‘Kissing Couple’. The unpopular world leaders were poked fun at with a large parade float, with the pair locking lips, as they depicted a couple very much in love during the Amsterdam Pride Canal Parade.
Trump and Putin were shown leaning in for a smooch while holding flowers behind their back while wearing some rather fetching outfits.
The floats showed Putin in overalls and Trump in a dress as onlookers danced around them, enjoying electronic dance music and waving signs about love as they slowly sailed down one of Amsterdam’s canals.
The two figures, dressed in Delft blue and white costumes and each clutching a tulip, leaned toward one another for a kiss.
The figures were designed in the style of pottery figurines that are a staple of tourist souvenir stores throughout the Netherlands.
The group that created the boat said on its website said they re-imagined the symbol of love and unity “not to provoke, but to pause power for a moment and highlight something human.”
And it is not the first time that the pair have been accused of having a secret relationship behind closed doors.
Trump enemy, Rosie O’Donnell has made several claims Trump works for Putin. Last year she branded Trump a Russian “asset,” “spy,” and a “traitor” to America.
